About Sesame Seed: Sesame is flowering plant which is found in its natural habitat of African region and parts of India. In modern day is has been widely cultivated in tropical regions across the world for its seeds which are further used for cooking. Usually sesame plant bears yellow flowers but the flowers can also be of blue, white or purple in colour. The height of this plant is about 3 feet and has 14 cm long dark green leaves.
