Ginger is probably the best known and most widely used spices in China, both in terms of culinary and in therapy. Fresh ginger is indeed a staple of Asian cuisines; it flavored sauces, meat, fish, seafood, rice, tofu and soups. They make jam and candied sweets. In Japan, pickled ginger accompanies sushi and sashimi. In the West, ground ginger flavor cakes, cookies, gingerbread and stewed. We use the essential oil of ginger in the manufacture of beer and soft drinks (such as ginger ale).
Properties:
